ROW Z — More Than a Game
An independent photography magazine exploring the people, friendships and stories at the heart of grassroots football.
The first issue follows Old Garchonians FC, a club founded by family and friends in memory of Freddie Garcha. Built around his personality and the connections he left behind, the team’s story is one of remembrance, belonging and a shared love of the game.
Through portraits, still-life photography and interviews, I documented life around the club, looking beyond the results to the individuals who give it its character. The limited-edition magazine also includes a Panini-inspired player sticker book—a nod to the football collections many of us grew up with.
Combining my photography and editorial design, ROW Z celebrates the commitment and community that keep grassroots football alive.
